วันวิสาขบูชามีความสำคัญอย่างไร?

ก่อนอื่น..จะขอเริ่มต้นด้วยความยิ่งใหญ่ ของพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า เพื่อให้มีความเข้าใจพื้นฐาน ว่าทำไมเราชาวพุทธ
จึงต้องเคารพพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าเหนือสิ่งใด

นับเป็นเวลาอันยาวนาน เกินกว่าจะคำนวณนับได้
ที่เหล่าสรรพสัตว์น้อยใหญ่ ต้องหลงวนเวียน
ตกอยู่ในห้วงวัฏสงสารอันยาวไกล ที่หาเบื้องต้น
ท่ามกลาง และเบื้องปลายไม่ได้
They were in endless cycle of death, rebirth, and suffering with no way to true freedom.
ต้องเวียนว่ายตายเกิดอยู่ในวังวนแห่งความทุกข์มาแสนยาวนาน..
ยากที่จะหาทางหลุดพ้น
Since the Lord Buddha was reborn in the world, he discovered the great secret to free all people from their cycle of suffering to enter into the cycle of Vimutti or absolute deliverance.
ตราบกระทั่งพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าได้ทรงอุบัติขึ้นในโลก
พระพุทธองค์ทรงเป็นผู้ที่ค้นพบหนทางอันประเสริฐ
ที่จะนำพามวลมนุษยชาติให้หลุดพ้นจากวังวนแห่งทุกข์ในวัฏสงสารไปสู่วิมุตติ หรือความหลุดพ้น

เมื่อค้นพบแล้ว.. พระองค์ก็มิได้เก็บงำไว้เพียงลำพัง
With His great mercy, he spread His teaching to make all people be free from their suffering and be healed.
ด้วยพระมหากรุณาธิคุณอันยิ่งใหญ่, พระพุทธองค์ทรงสั่งสอน
สรรพสัตว์ทั้งมวลให้พ้นจากทุกข์และได้รับความสุข
The Lord Buddha is the great marvelous person of the World and the Universe.
พระสัมสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า จึงเป็นบุคคลสำคัญของโลกและจักรวาล
The Lord Buddha is the only one who has true world insight and who has been reborn to be the salvation of all people.
พระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า ทรงเป็นพระบรมครูผู้รู้แจ้งโลกที่บังเกิดขึ้นเพื่อเป็นที่พึ่งให้แก่สรรพสัตว์ทั้งหลายโดยแท้
Anyone studying and following the Teaching of the Lord Buddha must be taken out of the cycle of suffering and could reach the great wayof theBliss of Emancipation, called Nibbana, the same as the Lord Buddhadid.
บุคคลใดที่ได้ศึกษาคำสอนของพระพุทธองค์แล้วน้อมนำไปประพฤติปฏิบัติย่อมสามารถพาตนให้ข้ามพ้นจากห้วงแห่งทุกข์ เข้าถึงวิมุตติสุขอันแท้จริง คือพระนิพพานตามพระองค์ได้
One who has a great heart like the Lord Buddha has the concentrated on performing perfection to become the lord Buddha, must be a marvelous person well worth respecting.
บุคคลใดก็ตามที่มีหัวใจยิ่งใหญ่ มุ่งสร้างบารมี เพื่อจะเป็นพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า บุคคลนั้นจึงเป็นบุคคลมหัศจรรย์ที่ควรกราบไหว้บูชา
Surprisingly, the Lord Buddha's Birth, Enlightenment, and Parinibbana fall on the same day with the same conditions; on the moon days of the sixth month.
นับเป็นบุคคลอัศจรรย์ที่มีวันประสูติ วันตรัสรู้ และวันปรินิพพานในวันเดียวกัน คือ วันเพ็ญขึ้น 15 ค่ำ เดือน 6
This important day is called Visakha Puja Day.
ในวันนี้จึงเป็นสำคัญอีกวันหนึ่งเรียกว่า วันวิสาขบูชา
